This activity is used to entitle an employee to overtime compensation, and to control the behavior of the Time and Attendance calculation program.
There is no system connection between this information and the same information found under Employment General Information in the employee files. This function can be used to temporarily override the information entered at the employment.
To have any relevance, the employee should be using clocking based time and attendance.
The information is used by the Time and Attendance calculation program. If checked, overtime clocking will be considered and calculated for the employee. If unchecked, any overtime clocking entered will be ignored and processed under the normal status, i.e., no overtime wage codes will be added to the result.
