This activity is used to design a compatible unit template structure by creating necessary sub unit templates. It considers connecting all possible sub unit template alternatives required by the different design geographical requirements.
Status of either one compatible unit template unit or an entire structure can be done using Status command in Compatible Unit Template Navigator page. A compatible unit template automatically sets into Planned status upon creation. It is then proceed to Released or Cancelled. Releasing a compatible unit template automatically sets the status of the connected execution items to Released status. Released compatible unit templates can be re-planned. Once a compatible unit template is re-planned, existing configurations in Configured status is not possible to evaluate until the compatible unit template structure is released again.
A compatible unit template status must not be set 'Released'.
