This activity is used to create and manage configuration rules for execution items templates. A compatible unit template structure is allowed to hold possible execution item alternatives required by the design. A rule can be defined on every execution item template by adding appropriate rule conditions. These conditions are evaluated, based on the configuration criteria inputs later in the configuration phase. This can be performed in Compatible Unit Template Navigator page, Execution Items tab.
It is possible to set the execution item rules criteria by defining conditions on this page. Condition allows you to define logical expressions to determine selection criteria based on specific configuration values or ranges of values. If the expression is true, the execution item template is picked to be included into the new compatible unit. The absence of a condition means that the original requirement will be inherited by default.
