Define rules for Work Lists

Explanation

This activity is used to create and manage configuration rules for work lists required for the execution item template. An execution item template is made possible to register all possible work list alternatives required by the design. A rule can be defined on every work list alternative, by adding appropriate rule conditions and respective actions. These conditions are evaluated and actions are performed based on the configuration criteria inputs later in the configuration phase. This can be performed in Compatible Unit Template Navigator page Work Lists tab.

A work list rule can be consists of conditions. Condition allows here to define logical expressions to determine selection criteria based on specific configuration values or ranges of values.  If the expression is false, the work list itself is ignored. The absence of a condition means that the original requirement will be inherited by default. Material and resources connected to the work list line will depend on the result of the condition expression and then if the material or resource lines has configuration rules connected them will be considered if only the expression is true on the work list condition. Actions are used to define an action to set Duration of the work list and is executed only if the expression is true on the work list condition

Prerequisites

Work Lists should be defined with at least one of the execution items.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a work list rule will be created and available for evaluation.
