Release Documents in a Survey
Explanation
Use this activity to release a document/s contained in a part's document
survey. Before the part can be released, all the documents in the document survey
must be released. Document requirements can be viewed by clicking on the attachments
in Engineering
Part Revision record.
In the attachments click on the Document Revisions and select
the documents you need to release and change the status to Quick Release
to perform the activity.
Prerequisites
- One or more documents must exist in the part's document survey.
- The documents should be Approved.
System Effects
- The document is released and cannot be modified.
- When all documents in the survey are released, the part can be released.
- When the part revision is released the document survey will be set to
the Locked status. Refer to the description on Document Object Connections
for more information.
