This activity is used to define activities for a particular task type. Each case task can consist of an activity that should be performed to complete the case task, e.g., analyze problem, verify correction. The task activity is a template from which the information is initially copied with no future connection, i.e., any later changes in the task activity will have no impact on the case task in a case or case task in a task template.
Pre-selected task activities will be added to each newly created case. If necessary, you can pre-select a task activity, select a handover business object for the task activity and indicate that the handover dialog should be opened when a new case (using this task activity) is created, thereby minimizing the steps required to perform this function. Also, you can use this activity to configure the automatic opening of the Dispatch assistant page for the case tasks, as they are created in the cases.
A task type must have been entered on the Case Task Basic Data/Task Type.
