Connect Customer Order Line and Item
Explanation
Use this activity to connect a customer order line to a defense contract
order delivery- or sub delivery item. All demands of items for a defense contract
order are represented by customer order lines and sales parts. There is a one
to one relationship between the items and the customer order line. It is only
possible to connect customer order line to the item if the customer order line
holds the same sales part and the same sales quantity as the item and if it
has a link to the same project activity sequence. Delivery of items are handled
via shipment lines, established on Release of the customer order(s) including
these connected customer order lines.
Connecting an item with a customer order line can be done from;
- Defense Contract Order/Items tab
- Defense Contract Order Delivery/Deliveries/Delivery Connection Section
- Defense Contract Order Delivery/Items tab
- Defense Contract Order Sub Delivery/Deliveries/Delivery Connection Section
Prerequisites
- This activity requires that a defense contract order exists in status
Active.
- Requires that the customer order line represents the same part and the
same sales quantity as the item.
- The item must be connected to the same project activity sequence
as the customer order line before a connection between the item and a customer
order line is possible to establish.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- A customer order line is connected to a defense contract order delivery-
or sub delivery item.
