Use this activity to connect a Project ID to a Defense Contract Order. All supplies of the demanded items registered for a Defense Contract Order is handled via project and project activities. From the field Project ID in header section Defense Contract Order it is possible to connect the Project established for the customer, intended to supply the order. There is a one to one relationship between the Defense Contract Order and Project, i.e. a Project ID can only be connected to and supply one Defense Contact Order.
It is the Project connected to the Defense Contact Order that provides the input figures to the actual calculation for Small Business Goal and Reporting analysis.
Note: It is only possible to connect customer order lines to items of type CLIN and SLIN which do have a project activity connection referring to the same Project ID as connected to the Defense Contract Order. This is how supply and demand are linked for the items included in a Defense Contract Order.
This activity requires that a Defense Contract order exists in status Active.
