Create New Revision
Explanation
Use this activity to create the new revision required when you are making
changes to a (released) revision. The very first revision must be created in
Engineering Parts.
All subsequent revisions can be created in
Engineering Parts
or Engineering
Part Navigator.
Prerequisites
- An engineering part must exist.
- If you want to connect the new revision to a CO, the CO must exist.
System Effects
- A new revision is created.
- If you specified a CO number, the new revision will be connected to
it.
- If you set the Replace Revision toggle, the Replace Part/Revision
assistant
will be launched automatically when finishing the Create Engineering
Part Revision assistant.
