Update CR Status
Explanation
Use this activity to update the status of a CR (Change Request).
The default status for a CR is Preliminary, which means that the CR needs to
be completed. Other values for CR Status are Active, Processed, and Canceled.
The status definitions are:
- Preliminary - The CR is being prepared. The analysis
of consequences, costs, and registration of information is not complete.
- Active - The CR is waiting for a CO (Change Order) to
be issued.
- Processed - A CO has been issued for this CR.
When the state of the CO is changed to Approved, the state of all the connected
CRs will automatically be changed to Processed.
- Canceled - The CR is canceled and no CO is issued.
Prerequisites
- The CR exists.
- If approval routing has been created for the CO, the approval process
must be completed before the CR can change status from Preliminary to Active.
System Effects
The status is updated.
The status change is irreversible.
