There are two types of controls available in Report Mode acting as toolbars or placeholders for functionality/options relevant for the end/report user.

Go to Design | Run | Navigates from Report Mode to Design Mode. Requires design user privileges | |
Run Report | Run | Runs the current report | |
Load Report | File | Opens the Load Report from Database dialog where the design of a specific report revision can be selected for load from the database | |
Order Report | File | Opens the Order Report dialog where a specific revision of a report can be selected for execution | |
Manage Archive | File | Opens the Manage BA Export Archive dialog box. Use this to modify reports that are saved in the archive when exporting a Microsoft Excel report. | |
Export | File | Opens the Export to Excel Report dialog box. Use it to save and/or email the report as a pure Excel report. The dialog can also be used to save the report in the BA Export Archive, preparing for later importing from the exported Excel report. | |
Import | File | Opens the Import From Excel Report dialog box that is used to import data values from a previously exported pure Excel report to the target Business Reporter report. | |
Writeback | Writeback | Performs modified write back by getting all modified cells, creating the transactions and then saving them to the database. | |
Writeback All Data | Writeback | Gets all writeback enabled cells, creates the transactions and sends them to the database. Requires that Allow Complete Writeback has been enabled in Design mode | |
Review Collected Data | Writeback | Selecting this option will lead to that all collected write back values will be presented in Writeback pane in Document Actions for manuall inspection and it will be up to the user to perform the write back by selecting the Save button. | |
Report Options | Design Info | Opens the Report Options dialog that can be used to find out the report options that applies for the current report. | |
Access Type | Design Info | Opens the Used Data Access Types dialog that shows the requested and the used data access type for each Information Source referenced by the report. | |
Document Actions | Settings | Will open or close the Document Actions pane | |
User Info/Login | Settings | Displays the current user. Clicking on the down-arrow
will provide a link to the start page of the actual IFS Cloud
instance and it is also possible to switch user by clicking on
Re-Login |

Settings | Settings | Opens the Settings dialog that diasplay current settings but also provides as possibility to refresh the translation cache. For more information please refer to the Technical Documentation. | |
About | Settings | Opens the About IFS Business Reporter dialog that provides information about current product version, component version and build date. A link to the about description in the IFS cloud documentation related to IFS Business Reporter is also available. | |

Debug | Opens the Debug Information section where current debug settings are displayed. Information about requests and response and detailed data set information will be available depending on design mode settings. Detailed information is related to the tabs Activity Log and Data Set Info that presents time elapsed for different activities and also how data sets are built and grouped. There is also a separate button named DataSet Info that displayes collected client data sets corresponding server data sets, available if the design mode option Display Dataset Info Before Executing has been selected. |
