Create Maintenance Level Data for All Sites

Explanation

This activity is used to set maintenance level data for the overhaul object (top part revision) belonging to a customer.

To set the maintenance level data, click Generate Maintenance Level Data for All Sites in the Maintenance Level Baseline tab. A record is created for each subassembly in the overhaul object for each site at which the object is registered. These records are created from the IFS Manufacturing product structure for the overhaul object and can include parts that are not included in the serial structure (in IFS/Fleet and Asset Management), but added after the transfer to IFS Manufacturing.

After this activity is performed, maintenance levels can be set for the generated records. For more information refer the Create and Maintain Maintenance Level Baseline activity.

Prerequisites

• The customer must have been defined.
• If the object is not defined for the customer this should be done in the Shop Visit/MRO Objects tab.
• A product structure for the top part of the overhaul object must be created by transfer of the serial structure to IFS Manufacturing.
• You must have access to the site for which you are creating maintenance level data.
• Maintenance Levels must have been defined in basic data for the overhaul object and its subassemblies.

System Effects

• Component lines for each distinct occurrence of the overhaul object - site combination will be created. The required maintenance level can be entered in the Maintenance Level field.
