Manually Add Modifications to the Snapshot

Explanation

This activity is used to manually add an entry to the modification snapshot. If the historical data is not complete, e.g., a modification has been performed but the compliance is not yet recorded in IFS Cloud, there can be modifications that are not included in the snapshot. These modifications can be manually added to the active snapshot. Note: Manual entries on a snapshot are for informational purposes only. Follow up of modifications, e.g., recording compliance, must be done by using the Modification Program functionality.

To manually add a modification to an active snapshot, click Add Modification Manually in the Work Scope Completion/Modification Snapshot tab. If the modification is already included on the snapshot, but is to be replaced with the manual entry, the Remove the existing entry for this modification option must be enabled in the dialog.

Manual entries will be copied to subsequent revisions of the snapshot. However, if historical data is updated and manual entries exist for the same modification on an active snapshot, the manual entries will not be copied. Instead, the updated historical data will be retrieved to the new revision.

If a manual entry was added incorrectly, it is possible to delete this entry by selecting the record and clicking Remove Manually Added Modification.
