This activity is used to assign a job to an employee. You can link an employee to multiple jobs, however, there can only be one primary job assignment for an employee at any given time. The job assignment is more or less a prerequisite in order to run some of the strategic HR processes. The job holds, e.g. the requirements in terms of competency, merits, experiences, education etc. Connecting the employee to a job also puts the employee in a default grade range.
In order to perform this activity, job IDs are required to be already defined in the Job Details page.
As a result of this activity an Employee get assigned to a job.
