Add to Training Plans

Explanation

This activity is used to add employees to a training plan for the course that needs to be followed to fill the identified gaps. The system will be checked the relevant course required to fill the gap, whether employees fulfill the required prerequisites, and whether employees already registered or not for the same course. If all conditions are satisfied, then suggest the employee for the course.

Prerequisites

Required courses for the identified gaps should be available.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, employees will be added to Training Plan for courses.

Procedure

  1. Open the Aggregate Gap Analysis page.
  2. Search or populate to find the relevant analysis.
  3. From the sub menu navigator, click Results in Detail.
  4. Select required employees, and click Add to raining Plan
  5. 1 - Select Option 1: (Select Courses for Gaps in All Requirements), if you want to send employees for courses for all the gaps identified.
    2 - Select Option 2: (Select Courses for Gaps in Selected Requirements), if you want to send employees for courses in a selected competency or a certificate area. Then you need to select the area (Required Training For), and suggestions for courses will be only from in this area, based on the gaps.
    3 - Select Option 3:(Slecific Course), if you want to send employees for a course without considering the gaps, then you need to select the course needed.
  6. Then click Next and go to step – Employees & Course Details 
    The proposed course will be listed here. And 
    Create Training Plan will be selected only for employees who fulfill the course prerequisites and have not registered for the same course already.
  7. Change the proposed course is allowed. And also, can stop adding to the training plan by changing the toggle Create Training plan
  8. Then click Finish. Rows with Create Training Plan selected will be added to the Training Plans page.
