This activity is used to assign general performance (Performance
Criterion and Performance Area) to employees, which can
be
used to conduct a general evaluation of employees. That is, such general
performance is
used for non objective based performance evaluation. However, you can evaluate
the performance of an employee using a general criteria in relation to
objectives already assigned to the employee.
E.g. 'Team Work' is a general criterion (non objective based) and
'Achieving 50% of Sales Target' is an objective already assigned to the
employee. You can evaluate the employee's team work as a general quality in the
employee, or you can evaluate the same according to the employee's performance
for the specified objective.
General Performance can be assigned to an employee using Performance Evaluation Details. You will need to select the employee and performance period first. To assign general performance to the employee, select the New General Performance option, which will guide you to a New General Performance assistant. You can select a predefined Performance Criterion using the list if the Performance Criterion has been predefined in General Performance. You can also define a Performance Criterion (which is not predefined) for the employee.
If there is already a Performance Criterion assigned to the employee, you can select Connect Objective option to link the Performance Criterion and/or Performance Area to an objective.
In order to perform this activity:
The newly assigned general performance will be displayed in Performance Evaluation Details of the employee.
