This activity is used to assign Objectives/General Performance and connected activities to a group of employees. It helps in managing the development and career for employees who share the same job or competency profile.
1. Assign predefined Objectives and Activities using Employee Selection template
Navigate to Predefined Objectives and Activities. Select an objective and then select Connect Objective to Multiple Employees. In the Template field, enter the ID of an employee selection template in order to select the employees to whom you want to assign the objective.
In the Template field, enter the ID of an employee selection template in order to select the employees to whom you want to assign the objective. Specify the period of time in which the employees will be evaluated in the Performance Period field. In the Responsible For field, indicate who is responsible for the fulfillment of the objective. Select a person using the list. If the field is left blank, system would fill in the field with the Employee ID of the person whom the objective is being assigned to. Enter the evaluator in the Evaluated By field. You can select persons using the list.
2. Assign Objectives and Activities/General Performance using Performance Evaluations page
Select the Employee(s) from the list and click on the buttons - New Objective/New General Performance. You can add new Objectives and General Performance as well as Predefined Objectives and General Perfromance. When copying Objectives/General Performance from an existing evaluation, you will see the list of Objectives/General Performance to copy. If you want to copy selected Objectives/General Performance, use 'Exclude' option to remove other records.
For Option 1
In order to perform this activity, objectives are required to be already created in Predefined Objectives and Activities.
Template used must have been predefined in Employee Selection Template.
Performance Period must have been predefined in Performance Periods.
For Option 2
Performance Evaluations should be created for the Employees
As a result of this activity, Objectives,Activities and General Performance will be added to Employees' Evaluations
