Use this activity to connect a technical class to a type designation. Type designation is used for the central registration of design data, such as motors or pumps. This design data is then automatically displayed for the objects associated with this type designation.If you then associate the type designation with an equipment object, the technical attributes connected to the technical class will automatically be inherited by the equipment object.
A technical class can be connected to a type design by selecting the technical class from the attachments, Characterisitics tab
Note: You cannot connect more than one technical class to a type designation.
