Create Functional Object

Explanation

Use this activity to create a new functional object. Functional objects can be created manually in IFS/Equipment.

Note: After you save the record, the system automatically sets the object's operational status to In Operation.

Information on the object level must have been entered in Equipment Basic Data.
The parent object must have been retrieved if you want to create a new object that belongs to a parent object.

As a result of this activity, a new functional object that can be used throughout the system is created.
