Use this activity to create a connection between two equipment objects that are placed in two completely independent parallel structures. Often it is of interest to know how an object’s failure or an operation stop affects other objects in the equipment structure. Two or more objects located in parallel objects structures can be connected individually to allow a direct response.
Retrieve the first object to be connected, then enter the other object and a connection type.
You can enter the object from the Connected Objects, Structures/Connections command in the sub command list.
As a result of this activity, a connection between two equipment objects is created.
