This activity used to enter requirements on functional objects, i.e., required technical data according to functional specifications set on a position (function) in the equipment structure. For serial objects, settings and calibration data can be added. If the object associated with an object type, the technical attributes of the object type will automatically be displayed.
Defining the technical data is done by connecting a technical class which contain characteristics reflecting the technical features of the object. When the technical class is saved, the characteristics will appear and you can specify the characteristic values. This can be performed in Requirements tab in Functional Object Page and Technical Data tab in Serial Object Page.
The technical class and the attributes must have been entered in IFS/Application Services.
As a result of this activity, a technical class is connected to the equipment object.
