Move Serial Object

Explanation

This activity is used to move a serial object from one place to another in the equipment structure. A serial object is not located in a fixed place in the equipment structure, but resides only temporarily in one place. This can be performed in Serial Object page using Move/Copy button, choosing Move Serial Object option.

Prerequisites

• The current position for the serial object must be In Facility.
• Belongs to Object field in General tab must have a value defined in order to enable the option to move serial object.
• The new Belongs to Object should be in the same company as the current Belongs to Object.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a serial object is moved to another place in the facility. All historical movements of a serial object is shown in Serial Object History.
