To connect a customer to your estimate header, click Add Customer in the Customer section. It can be done at any time as long as the estimate header status isn’t Closed. Versions can be included for all customers listed in order to retrieve a selection of deliverable lines possible to base the creation of business object lines.
Connected customers are those who are to receive a quotation price for the top items in the estimate tree structure. All customer categories can be selected without restrictions. This means a prospect customer can be connected to an estimate. More than one customer can be connected to the estimate. All versions of the top items can be included for all connected customers, meaning that the deliverables related to the selection of included versions can be used to create business objects.
The estimate header must have been created and cannot be in status Closed.
As a result of this activity, a customer is connected to the estimate header.
