Financial Connector

Description of Process

The Financial Connector process is used to facilitate the integration of financial information between the IFS Cloud and a third-party financial system.

The Financial Connector process consists of the following sub processes (Business APIs):

• Send Supplier Invoice
• Send Customer Invoice
• Send Voucher
• Receive Supplier Info
• Receive Customer Info
• Receive Currency Rate
• Receive Account
• Receive Code Part

These Financial Connector sub processes enable you to perform your entire financial process across both IFS Cloud and another financial system, when the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and the basic data are contained within the other system. To do this, the Financial Connector sub processes take advantage of the IFS Cloud's Financial Connector tool, which is a collection of business application programming interfaces (APIs) that communicate with third-party systems by exchanging XML (extensible markup language) code through IFS Connect. (IFS Connect is the integration technology framework that enables IFS Cloud to integrate with third-party technology and applications across the enterprise.)

The Financial Connector tool supports the open standard for messages developed by the Open Application Group (OAG). The specific OAG messages supported are listed below.
