This activity is used to create an amortization schedule. Click New Amortization Schedule on the Lease Accounting Contract page to create the amortization schedule. Alternatively, same procedure can be carried out for multiple contracts from Lease Contracts Modification Details page.
In order to create an amortization schedule, the following must have been completed:
As a result of this activity, an amortization schedule will be created in the Amortization Schedule tab of the Lease Accounting Contract page to reflect the future cash flows and the present value calculations therein.
