Create Voucher 

Explanation

This activity is used to create acquisition transactions that will update fixed assets. The voucher could be created anywhere within IFS. When the prerequisites below are fulfilled, IFS/Fixed Assets will be updated at the same time as IFS/General Ledger. 

Prerequisites

• The object must exist in IFS/Fixed Assets.
• The status of the object should be Investment or Active.
• The voucher must include a transaction with the object ID and the acquisition account for the object.
• The function group of the voucher type should not be A or Q.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a voucher is created and placed in the hold table,  and an acquisition transaction is created for the object in IFS/Fixed Assets.
