Modify Cash Flows

Explanation

This activity is used to modify the cash flows and other information for an amortization schedule line.

Click Edit on Amortization Schedule tab and find the schedule line that you want to modify the cash flows and other information. Enable the Modify option for the selected schedule line and do the changes in the columns as required, other than columns Installment Number, Line Number, Annual Interest Rate (%) and Base Index. Enter a comment about the changes performed in the Modify Comment column of the schedule line.
Note: Lease Payments and One-Time Payments columns are considered for present value calculations when performing the Regenerate Amortization Schedule.

 

Prerequisites

In order to modify an amortization schedule line, the following must have been completed:

• An Amortization Schedule should have been created for a lease contract.
• Status of the lease contract should be in the status Preliminary.
• The schedule line which is modified should not have any recognition posting or lease accounting proposal created.

As a result of this activity, the cash flows and other information for an amortization schedule line can be modified
