Assign Work Task

Explanation

You can assign a task or fault that has been included in a work package to yourself, allowing you to easily start work on your assignments.

You can assign an unassigned work task to yourself on the Work Tasks page or the Task Details page.

You can also assign a work task that has been assigned to someone other than yourself given that the task has steps which are partially complete.

Work tasks assigned to you can be unassigned on the My Work page, the Work Tasks page or the Task Details page.

Prerequisites

• The task or fault must be migrated and synced from your primary M&E system.
• The task or fault must be included in a work package.
•  The task status must be in Active or In Work.
• The work task must be unassigned or assigned to another technician but has a step in the Partial status.

System Effects

• When work is assigned it is displayed on the My Work page.
• The assignee on the task, as seen in Task Details and Work Tasks is set to your user.
