Enter Depreciation Methods For Object

Explanation

Use this activity to enter information on depreciation methods for a fixed asset.

Prerequisites

Before information can be entered in the Depreciation Method field, the following must have been completed:

• Information must have been entered in the General tab.
• The object type must be Normal or Not Depreciable.
• The depreciation plan and depreciation methods must have been entered.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the depreciation method entered for an object can be used when a depreciation proposal is created.
