Enter Fixed Assets Object Series

Explanation

This activity is used to define fixed asset object series IDs which are used to automatically assign IDs to fixed asset objects entered in IFS. Once an object series ID are defined, number series to be used each year can be defined in the Object Number Series page.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity,

• a company must have been created in IFS Cloud, and
• a code part with the FA Accounting code part function must have been defined in the Define Code String page.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, object series IDs will be available to be connected to object groups for the purpose of automatically generating IDs for objects belonging to those groups.
