A consolidation structure is a combination of specific connections between nodes and reporting entities. A node represents a group of reporting entities belonging to the types Reporting, Adjustment and Planning in the consolidation structure. The selection of reported balances and the required consolidation adjustments are determined by the consolidation structure. Further, any changes to the group of entities belonging to a consolidation structure are introduced to balance consolidation via the consolidation structure.
