Calculate Risk Potential

Explanation

This activity is used to calculate the risk potential for a particular reported incident.

Use the Cause Analysis, Incident Risk Assessment section to calculate the risk potential. In the Probability field, select the description of the risk likelihood and the corresponding probability value. In the Frequency field, select the option specifying the frequency of risk occurrence and the corresponding frequency value. n the Severity field, select the description for the severity of risk and the corresponding severity value. Once all information is saved the risk potential is calculated from all values in the risk calculator and will be shown in the Risk Potential field.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• The Incident is required to be already registered in IFS Cloud.
• Descriptions and values of frequency, severity and probability of risk are required to be already defined in the Risk Potential Basic Data.
