Define Competencies

Explanation

This activity is used to define competencies that can be assigned to employees or positions.

Expand the graphical object structure (tree). Select the relevant Competency Group. Under Competencies section, add new competencies to the group.

Use Hide or Block options to determine which competencies can be seen in the graphical object structure (tree). Competencies marked as blocked or hidden will not appear on the list by default, unless Show Hidden and Show Blocked options are selected in Display Settings at the top of the page.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, competency groups have to be defined in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, competencies will be registered in the system. Select the Public option, if the competency should be published in the Qualification Finder. If the option is cleared, the specified competency will not be available in the Qualification Finder.
