This activity is used to define maintenance time units that are to be used for maintenance planning.
The units of measure that are to be used as maintenance time units must already be defined. There is logic connected to the conversion of time units that is absolutely necessary for several background jobs running in the system.
To perform this activity, time units must be defined in the Units of Measure page.
As a result of this activity, maintenance execution (e.g., preventive checks, modifications) can be performed based on the valid maintenance time unit.
