This activity is used to move a serial from one maintenance program to another. The maintenance program to which the serial(s) is to be moved must be valid for the part number, part revision, and maintenance group of the serial.
To move the serial to a maintenance program, click Move to Maintenance Program in the Define Maintenance Program/Affected Serials tab. In the dialog that opens, enter the target maintenance program information.
A valid maintenance program needs to be defined for the serial.
As a result of this activity, the selected serial(s) will be moved to the maintenance program of your choice.
