Enable/Disable Revision Control on PM Program

Explanation

Use this activity to enable/ disable revision control on an existing PM program, however, it is normally done before a PM program is started.

When Revision Control is ON;

• A PM program revision that is in active status can only be updated with restriction if revision control is enabled and major changes such as entering new jobs, item class etc, cannot be performed.
• You are able to keep track of the changes performed on PM programs as versions.

When Revision Control is OFF;

• It is possible to make changes to a PM program without having to create new PM program revision.
• Almost all types of changes are allowed but you will lose control of all changes done.

Prerequisites

A PM program revision in Active or Preliminary status should exist in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a journal entry is created in the PM Program that the revision control has been enabled/ disabled.
