Analyze Shop Order Requisition Material Availability
Explanation
This activity is used to analyze the availability of
components for a shop order requisition. The logic will use the product
structure revision and alternate selected for the requisition.
The summarized worst case component availability per requisition is
displayed in the On Hand, Include Open Supplies and Include
Open Supplies and Requisitions fields.
In the Component Availability tab you can analyze the
availability of each component. Use the below options to control the how the
projected quantity and availability classification should be calculated, and
what components to display:
- On Hand - Select this option to only consider existing on
hand quantities. I.e. supply requisition and orders are excluded.
- Include Open Supplies - Select this option to consider on
hand and open supply orders. Supply requisitions are excluded.
- Include Open Supplies and Requisitions - Select this option
to consider on hand and open supply orders and requisitions.
- Shortage Only - Select this to show only components
classified as shortage.
Prerequisites
- At least one shop order requisition must exist with a buildable structure
revision.
- Shop order requisition component availability must have been
calculated using Calculate Component Availability for Shop Order
Requisitions.
