This activity is used to define or edit basic data for non conformance codes for material review board (MRB) cases. A non conformance code identifies a part as non conforming, hence it needs to be reviewed by the MRB. It is a must that a non conformance code exists when creating a MRB case. This task is required and should be performed by a systems administrator or a person with equivalent authority. To create a new non conformance code, click the new command, enter data and save.

There are no prerequisites for this activity.
As a result of this activity a new non conformance code will be created. It can be selected from the list of values in the non conformance code field when creating a MRB case via the create MRB case command.
