You can remove a component of a multilevel structure during the multilevel repair process. Expand the tree structure and select the revision node of the parent part from which you want to remove a component. In the Repair Actions section, click Remove. Enter a quantity and a repair reason. You can select a new parent part revision and add a note if needed. Finally, click OK.
Multilevel repair shop order must exist with the parent part in the Reserved or Issued state. At least one component must exist in the original as-built structure for the required parent part.
As a result of this activity, the changes done to the component is written to the repair history. Any removed components will be placed in Shop Order/Salvage Parts tab. When receiving the repair shop order, a new as-built structure is created with the changes done.
