This activity is used to allow corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to be connected to any kind of business object, for instance a purchase order, work order or shop order. When a business object is made CAPA aware, a Corrective and Preventive Actions tab will be available in the Attachments section of the required business object, in order to be able to create new, attach existing and view created CAPAs connected to the business object.
An object connection is configured using the Edit Object Connection dialog. To configure a CAPA object connection for a business object, first select the business object item and click Edit in order to open the Edit Object Connection dialog. Then move the service CapaObjectConnection from Available Services to Connected Services and click OK.
Only a system administrator can access and configure the corrective and preventive action object connections on the Object Connections page.
As a result of this activity, a business object is made CAPA aware.
