Connect a Person Category per Person

Explanation

This activity is used to connect an existing person category to the selected person.

A person can belong to one or more person categories, for example, there can be an occasion where the locomotive driver is an on-board mechanic as well. It is possible to define a default category per person, select Set Default Category option to define a person category as your default category.

Prerequisites

• Persons need to have been defined in the Person window.
• At least one person category needs to have been defined.

System Effects

• One or more person categories are connected to the selected person.
• The default person category is automatically suggested when a fault is reported by the person.
