This activity is used to grant employees the ability to register their own data. It is done through assignment of a data registration access role. This role allows employees to register their own data on the organization unit they are assigned to. It is possible to configure access role to be suggested by default every time an assignment to an organization unit is performed.
To manually assign a registration role to an employee
Navigate to Employee File and select the relevant employee. Under Employment Information, select Assignments. Add a new record under Organization section. Indicate the organization and position to which you want to assign the employee, and indicate if this is the primary assignment. In the Access Role field, enter REG_NO_AUTH. You can use the list of values. ThenĀ indicate the validity period for the assignment.
To set automatic registration role suggestion
Navigate to Company Details and select the relevant company. Under Property, select Property "DEFREGROLE". Expand the record to add a Property Value. Enter "REG_NO_AUTH" in Property Value field and indicate the validity period for the property code.
There are no prerequisites.
As a result of this activity, an employee will be able to register his or her own data in areas of the application that are protected with access restrictions.
