This activity is used to acknowledge a DOP alarm. This is an optional activity done mainly for visibility purposes and does not affect anything else in the system.
To acknowledge a DOP alarm click Acknowledge on the DOP Alarms page, on the Alarms tab on the DOP Header page or on the Alarms tab on the DOP Order page.
This activity requires that a DOP alarm has been generated. The DOP alarm type can not be of the type Configuration. Configuration alarms must be solved and can therefore not be acknowledged.
As a result of this activity, the status of the alarm is changed from the default value Not Acknowledged to Acknowledged. In the field Acknowledged by on the DOP Alarms page, the name of the user under which you are logged in is displayed.
