Remove DOP Branch
Explanation
This activity is used to remove some or all of the DOP order components and their
structures from a specific DOP order.
To remove all component DOP orders click Change Structure/Routing,
then Remove Branch on the
DOP Order page. To remove some or a specific component DOP order
click Remove Branch(es) on the Component tab
on the DOP Order page.
It is also possible to execute these tasks from the
DOP Header page when expanding the tree structure
in order to display the DOP order.
Prerequisites
- When the DOP order is released, the status of the supply shop order
for its parent DOP order and all of the supply shop orders in the branch
must be in the Planned, Released or
Reserved status.
- In addition, no purchase orders that has been released can exist in the branch.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, structure branches will be removed from
a specific DOP order.
- Serial numbers reserved for the removed structure branches will be unreserved.
- The Structure Changed
flag will be displayed for the specific DOP order and the
DOP header.
- Any netted quantity for the removed structure branches will be unreserved
after performing this activity.
- Any supply order on a higher level using the removed branch will be
updated; the component will be removed from the supply order.
