This activity is used to select a different revision and/or alternative of the structure for the production schedule line. The existing revision is selected automatically when a production schedule is created.
This activity requires that the production schedule line is already created (manually or by planning logic). Its state could be either Firm or Non-Firm.
As a result of this activity, planning logics like MRP will take the updated structure revision/or the alternate into consideration for the next calculation. Structure revision and/or alternate will also get updated on the record. If a packing instruction is connected to the structure alternate, the packing instruction will get updated on the record.
