Deliver Supplier Shipment
Explanation
This activity is used to deliver supplier shipments. Once the supplier shipment
is picked, you can deliver it at any time. You cannot deliver a partial quantity
out of a picked quantity, so you will have to deliver the whole picked quantity
at once. Non-inventory parts are available to deliver at any time after the
supplier shipment lines are created.
Prerequisites
- The supplier shipment inventory parts must have been reserved and picked
reported.
System Effects
- The entire supplier shipment will be considered as sent or delivered
to the supplier. Once the supplier shipment acquires the Delivered status,
you cannot enter any new lines or cancel the shipment.
- The delivered quantity will be shown in the supplier shipment line level.
- The relevant inventory or purchase transactions will be created.
