Define Cost Element Code Part Demands

Explanation

This activity is used to define a set of code parts that are to be used in budgeting against each cost element. By selecting a code part against a cost element, it makes that code part mandatory in forecast lines, for that cost element. These settings will be used as a template for projects that created thereafter. 

Prerequisites

• Cost elements should be defined on the user's company.
• The code parts to be defined against each cost element are displayed based on their definition on the Define Code String.

System Effects

• A record is created for all new cost elements defined in this company in the Cost/Revenue Elements. 
• Changes done on Cost Element Code Part Demand will affect only the projects created thereafter. Existing projects will not inherit the changes saved here.
