Enter Authorization Limits per Project Role

Explanation

This activity is used to enter authorization limits for project roles. If an authorization limit is entered, it will be used instead of the authorization limit that may have been defined for the authorizer assigned to the project role.

Authorization limits can be defined in Authorization Limit per Project Role page.

 Note: The amount is unlimited if no value is indicated. If you enter "%" in the Project field, the authorization limit is valid for all projects for the selected project role. A row with a specific project will however have priority before a row with "%" in project.

Prerequisites

• The project role must be defined in the Project Basic/Default Project Roles page.

System Effects

• The limit entered here is used when validating the authorization limit through an authorization routing for a purchase requisition or purchase order, even if an authorization limit has been entered for each authorizer.
