Enter Progress Template

Explanation

A progress template is a collection of related Progress Template Steps. For each step, manually register a progress percentage, which indicates the progress gained when this step is reached. Also, the relative progress of each progress template step is automatically calculated which is the progress increase between this step and the previous step. A progress template can be connected to tasks, activities and similar objects to facilitate the monitoring of progress information.

Example:

Progress Template Step Description Relative Progress
(automatically calculated)
Progress
1 When all requirements are in place 10% 10%
2 Initial design is copied or created from scratch 20% 30%
3 When the design is approved by you 30% 60%
4 When the design is approved by involved departments 20% 80%
5 When the final approval is given 20% 100%

Progress information on progress template steps is shown on tasks, activities, subprojects, and projects. Therefore, changing this information will affect progress information on all these elements.

To remove a progress template, you should first remove all tasks related to each progress template step and then remove all progress template steps related to the profile. In addition, the connection to any other objects that use the progress template should be removed as well. Afterwards, the progress template can be removed.
