Create Acceptance Sampling Analysis

Explanation

This activity is used to create an analysis for acceptance sampling. This is only needed if:

• The analysis created automatically by the system when the shop order started has been cancelled by a user, or
• Lot/batch numbers have been reserved after the shop order has started.

To create acceptance sampling analysis from an analysis that has been cancelled, click Create Acceptance Sampling Analysis on the Analysis Report page. The system gives you the possibility to register analysis results immediately. If you click Yes, the Analysis Result page will be displayed, and you can enter the result.

If a batch is missing an acceptance sampling analysis it is possible to create one using the Create Analysis - Acceptance Sampling dialog. The dialog can be accessed from different pages. To access the dialog from the:

• Shop Order page: Click Shop Order Analysis and then Create Acceptance Sampling Analysis on the Operations tab.
• Shop Order Operations page: Click Shop Order Analysis and then Create Acceptance Sampling Analysis Result.
• Shop Order Operations Reporting page: Click Shop Order Analysis and then Create Acceptance Sampling Analysis Result on the Operations tab.
• Work Center Operations Reporting page: Click Shop Order Analysis and then Create Acceptance Sampling Analysis Result on the Internal Operations tab.

In the Create Analysis - Acceptance Sampling dialog, enter the lot/batch number in the Lot/Batch No field and click Create Analysis.

Prerequisites

There is no existing non-cancelled acceptance sampling analysis for the operation and batch number.

System Effects

Sampling	Result
Lot by Lot	An analysis is created in status Planned.
Skip Lot	An analysis is created. Depending on the skip lot logic, it may be created in status Planned or Confirmed if it was skipped.
